The Inner Africa Expeditionary Society (IAES) was a Belgian proto-Foundation organization founded before 1901. It was directly funded by King Leopold II of Belgium, and presumably was dedicated to the anomalous. They likely operated in Africa, judging from the name.[1]
The leader, nicknamed "Out-of-Place", participated in the Forbidden City Convention of 1901, agreeing to merge the IAES with the other twelve organizations to form the SCP Foundation.[2]
