Prometheus Labs

Prometheus Laboratories, Incorporated (GoI-14, GoI-211 or GoI-2312) was a research corporation that researched and produced various products, primarily of the anomalous variety. They were involved in nearly every technological field in regard to the anomalous, including thaumaturgy, demonics, and ontokinesis.

After an incident in 1998, Prometheus Labs' projects were seized by the SCP Foundation and the corporation splintered into hundreds of smaller companies.

Demonic miniaturization[]

In 1904, Prometheus Labs acquired Nikola Tesla's inventions in demonics and began investing into the newfound technology. The organization eventually developed a solid-state demon summoning device, featuring the use of electrical currents for producing spatiotemporal patterns.[1]

Further demonic investment and the Golden Age of Demonics[]

In the 1950s, as demonics was a fully developed technology, Prometheus Labs released the 6900 series integrated circuit in 1953, which utilized demonics. During the Golden Age of Demonics, Prometheus was one of the most prolific developers of demonic technology, even continuing to use it in private after the end of the Golden Age and institution of the Demonics Nonproliferation Agreement and Multilateral Agreement for Reality Preservation.[1]
