Oh, Go To Hell

–Motto of Site-666, Entry Page: 7821

SCP Foundation Site-666, publicly known as the Luxor Las Vegas, is an SCP Foundation facility located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada within the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The Luxor Hotel & Casino publicly operates the Luxor, though it is secretly a front company for the Foundation.

The site serves to monitor any and all anomalous activity within Las Vegas and as the main observation point of the anomalous city of Undervegas, located in the Fourth Circle of Hell and directly beneath its non-anomalous counterpart. The current Site Director is Randall House.

The site is also home to a number of both demonic and human personnel, an example of this being Agent Calendar, a variety of counter-demonic equipment and theological weaponry, and is home to the House-Nicolas Theoplanar Vacuum Unit, a device that siphons TRE (demonic radiation) and converts it into Alpha radiation through light while also anchoring Site-666 to baseline reality, this device is disguised under Luxor's beam of light.

History[]

Construction[]

Site-666 construction

After the SCP-4661 Collapse Incident ended, Site-666 and the House-Nicolas Theoplanar Vacuum Unit was built on the Las Vegas Strip between 1992-1993 on the order of the SCPF Southwest U.S. Regional Command. The purpose of the facility was to prevent a similar event from occurring again, while also facilitating research and containment in the Southwest overall.

The construction was under the cover of a new casino opening on the Strip called the Luxor Las Vegas, an Egyptian-themed casino and resort operated by the Luxor Hotel & Casino, which was a Foundation front company. Senior Researcher Randall House was chosen to be Site-666's director due to his expertise and his responsibility for ending the Collapse Incident.[1]

Discovery of SCP-5690[]

Agent Clark Adams, part of the new wave of personnel assigned to Site-666, was referred to SCP-5690 by other security personnel as a place to visit while off duty. After testing its services, Adams reported 5690 to his superiors. Agent Alice Sterling, the Security Chief of Site-666, proceeded to interview Clark about 5690. After Sterling and MTF Omega-33 "Ocean's Three-hundred" confirmed its status as a brothel, Sterling and Adams interviewed SCP-5690-B, discovering the Ardor-class demons' reasons for being there before Adams requested their services again.

Later, a Covenant was established between the SCP Foundation and SCP-5690, preventing local authorities from intruding on 5690 while also binding them to Las Vegas.[2]

Teleportation to Undervegas[]

Site-666 Undervegas

Site-666 during its time in Undervegas.

On 2 February 1999, during a small party that was being held in Site-666's employee lounge, Dr. Contessa Thorner, just a couple of hours prior, had accidentally and unknowingly completed all the requirements for an ancient demonic summoning ritual that would summon the Prince of Undervegas, Ba'al. Following Ba'al's encounter, Site-666 partially collapsed into Undervegas, while the primary HNTVU remained on Earth in one of Site-666's parking lots.

It was soon discovered that Ba'al had a mental grip on Site-666, preventing it from leaving Hell. House ordered Dr. Thorner to explore Undervegas with a three-man survey team: instead of choosing members from MTF Kappa-12 "High Rollers", Thorner chose Agents Adams and Sterling to accompany her. They eventually ran into a demon named Rocko who tried to take their car before a Wrath Demoness told him off: the Demoness was recruited, and she was given the name "Agent Calendar" by House. Calendar informed the Foundation that they must turn the other Pit Bosses against Ba'al in order to escape Hell.

Belial, Gamory, and Asmodeus, the Pit Bosses of the Feast, Succubustown, and Ivory Towers respectively, were convinced to turn against Ba'al. However, when confronting Ba'al, the four Pit Bosses ultimately descended into an infighting brawl that allowed House to activate the secondary HNTVU installed in Site-666 and return to reality, now that Ba'al had lost his focus on the Site.[3]

Las Vegas Accords[]

In April 2000, House invited Directors Daniel Asheworth, Jay Dune, and Paul Lague, as well as Dr. Harold Blank of, respectively, Site-120, Area-179, Site-322, and Research and Containment Site-43, to Site-666. Upon meeting House in his office, House proposed that the four of them sign the Las Vegas Accords of the Syndicate Proposal; these accords were a pact between the five facilities due to their eccentricities and integrated anomalous personnel, all within the Northern Hemisphere.

All of those present signed the Accords, though Blank insisted on changing the name of the Syndicate Proposal to The Exceptions Proposal.[4]

Death and resurrection of Director House[]

On 22 December 2005, security personnel discovered Randall House, site director of Site-666, in his office, where he had been crushed to death but not before being burnt to a crisp which rendered his body unrecognizable to personnel. Following his death, the Department of Tactical Theology launched several interviews and investigations while Site-666 focused its efforts on finding the location of Randall House, they discovered that not only was House in Hell but was being ruthlessly tortured for 15 Hell years, even when only 3 Earth days have passed.

It was revealed that the entire incident was orchestrated by a demon imp named Clydesdale for the sole intention of finding out the true meaning of Christmas and in the end, House gave up the Christmas truth, which was apparently so disgusting that it was redacted from the SCP file, which led to House being resurrected in his office in a loud explosion.
